Customized group Retreats at TiLT
TiLT offers customized immersions of 3-10 days for colleges, men’s groups, churches, and other groups leaning into the question, “How Then Shall We Live?” Below are some samples of the kind of experiences we offer:
Land stewardship through an indigenous lens
Kevin Whitefeather of Taos Pueblo and his allies share their land, culture, stories, and history with visitors who come with humble hearts and and eagerness to learn and help. TiLT has worked with Kevin to develop customized immersions and service-learning opportunities in supportive spaces for settlers to move beyond mindsets of colonization, extraction and exceptionalism, and instead see the land and its human and more-than-human inhabitants through an indigenous perspective.
wading into the watershed way
Plunging into the Rio Grande Gorge, sharing discussions at river’s edge, cleaning acequias and making meals together from local food, Todd Wynward and his multi-cultural allies introduce the ancient scripture, historical lifeways and modern practices of the Watershed Way that can help restore right relationship with self, other, nature and Creator.
service & learning in taos
Taos’ unique setting and TiLT’s multicultural allies allow us to provide rich opportunities for learning, service, collaboration, introspection, and adventure. TiLT provides service opportunities, meeting rooms, inspiring outdoor spaces…and amazing house-made food!
